Fire Dancing

Dancing with fire is one of the most exciting things I do. How does it feel to dance with fire? Hot obviously. ;) but also a huge adrenaline rush. When your spinning fire- whether fire poi or fans fans or any prop- you are dancing with something that is dancing on its own too. Fire "dances"- it has a pattern of movement of its own. I have to be very aware of the wind direction, my surroundings, the temperature of the place I am performing, and more. In addition to safety measures and technical aspects, I have to actually make it interesting to you- the viewer. Fire dancing isn't easy & it's not for everyone. The props I spin can be learned without fire though- poi and staff especially. You can learn those and never have to light it on fire. I encourage you to browse the fire arts and pick up something. If fire dancing makes you nervous, there is always LED :)
